Actual brass handrails, swinging bells for perfect rhythm, exact copies of the steam domes are just a few features. The headlights are modeled from actual steamers and the marker lights are fashioned after real gas burning lamps now wired for 12v bulbs. Even the smoke stacks are replicas. Brass fire box doors on the front and a real compressed air whistles. The cow catchers and side piston cylinders add realism.
The passenger car and caboose running lights are great to draw attention and for safety. The locomotive engine cover tilts forward for easy motor access and the cab tilts back for rear tire changes. These trackless trains are individually custom made and your requests are welcomed. All cars have doors and seat belts may be added. There are a lot of options depending on your use.

Dimensions of the locomotive are 42" wide x 96" long x 71" tall. The dimensions listed are over all length and width including any tongue or hitch attachments. The cow catcher can be removed so the locomotive length does not include it (add about 5"). All sizes are approx. The passenger car and caboose are also 71" high. All cars are 42" wide. The coal car is 68" long and the caboose is 64" long while the passenger car is 130" long.
The gas unit features a 26hp KohlerTM CommandTM V-Twin OHV engine CraftsmanTM tractor. We do not manufacture these and offer no secondary guarantee. The original warranty is most likely void because of the modifications. We do guarantee that we will deliver the train in perfect working order. The maximum number of cars to be pulled is one of each.If clean emissions and more pulling power are important, consider the new 72volt electric battery version. This unit is not a converted riding mower or a heavy industrial tugger. It was engineered and designed by us exclusively for our use. The battery charger is built on board and almost no maintenance is required. A one year warranty is included. Another feature offered on our electric trains is additional electric brakes. It is up to the purchaser to pick the appropriate unit for their needs. For example, a train running as a shuttle on a flat paved road will require less power than a train running in a vineyard up slight upgrades.
